Job summary

SUNSETRIDGE in Las Vegas is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations, food service, and sanitation. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving, wash dishes, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers' certificate; you will work under the Cook and Dietary supervisor and participate in ongoing training to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Wash dishes and strip returned trays.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures.
• Operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Store groceries safely.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary and assist the cook or dietary supervisor.
