Job summary

PACS in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food service operations within the kitchen and dining areas. The role reports to Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves learning routines, setting up trays, dishwashing support, and assisting with meal service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays per daily plan.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Keep kitchen clean: sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
