Boca Raton Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to assist with meal service, setup of trays, dishwashing, and food preparation in a hospital nutrition program.

Responsibilities include learning routines quickly, following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting the dietary supervisor and cook. Must obtain a food handlers’ certificate and stand for long periods. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must learn food service routines quickly on the job.
• Able to read and follow recipes precisely.
• Able to present information clearly to managers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperature and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Keep kitchen clean; sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with other departments.
