Job summary

ASPENHILLS is seeking a Dietary Aide in Soldotna, AK to support daily kitchen operations. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and maintain dishwashing workflows under the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

The role requires learning food service routines, ability to read procedures/recipes, and teamwork across departments. A high school diploma and a food handler's certificate are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
