Job summary

PACS is hiring a Dietary Aide in Richardson, TX to support meal service and kitchen sanitation. You will learn food service routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain clean dishes and work areas under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain a food handlers' certificate. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient operation of the kitchen in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record water temperature and chlorine levels of dishwasher.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and maintain floors.
• Carry out trash and store groceries safely.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with other departments.
