Job summary

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service in our Chico facility. You will learn the food service routine quickly and help set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and ensure dishes are cleaned and equipment is operated properly.

You will also be responsible for sanitation, cleaning work surfaces and refrigerators, and supporting orientation and training of dietary staff while maintaining a safe, healthy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food handlers certificate required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn the food service routine quickly and set up meal trays.
• Assist with serving meals and ensure proper dishwashing and sanitation.
• Check and record dishwashing machine parameters and monitor water temperatures.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen areas.
• Carry out trash disposal and organize groceries safely.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
