Job summary

You will help ensure accurate meal trays, assist with delivery, and follow safety and infection-control procedures while working as part of a compassionate care team. Weekend and holiday shifts are part of the schedule, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• A patient, respectful, and upbeat attitude- especially when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to perform the essential functions of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support meal and snack preparation, service, and delivery.
• Keep work areas, equipment, tables, and floors clean and sanitary.
• Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled items and store clean items properly.
• Review meal trays for accuracy based on menus and diet orders.
• Store raw and leftover food safely and correctly.
• Follow all Universal Precautions, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Work some weekends and holidays as part of the team rotation.
