Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking an entry-level Food Service Assistant to support dining operations in our senior living communities. The role involves assisting cooks, assembling meal trays, and serving residents in dining areas and patient rooms.

You will ensure meals meet diet preferences, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, and participate in training. A High School Diploma and Serv Safe certification are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Entry Level (0-3 years) in food service or hospitality.
• Serv Safe or state/local required certification.
• Capable of clear verbal communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to follow detailed policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, deliver, and verify meal trays and dining areas.
• Assist cooks with meal prep and menu items.
• Serve meals and room service as needed to residents.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and proper diet modifications.
• Follow portion control and quality standards for meals.
• Attend required trainings and team meetings.
