Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Dietary Associate to deliver outstanding service to hospitalized patients at Maple Grove Hospital. You will take customer menu requests, communicate dietary information to kitchen staff, and ensure patients receive the correct diet and nutritional supplements.

The role follows established diet guidelines, supports infection control standards, and contributes to the hospital’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience
• 1+ years in food service with nutrition/dietetics focus preferred
• Solid PC skills including MS applications and internet
• Strong communication skills; ability to convey ideas clearly
• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict positively and professionally
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
• Must read, write, and speak English well

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and obtain menu requests
• Communicate dietary information to kitchen personnel accurately
• Identify customers to ensure correct diets and nutritional supplements
• Follow diet manual guidelines and departmental policies
• Use downtime to complete assigned departmental tasks while supporting Maple Grove Hospital mission
