Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood Village in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support dining services for residents. You will set up tables and dining areas, assist with meal preparation under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, and help maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and dining spaces.

Join Our Team at Aventura at Oakwood Village in Springfield, Ohio as a Dietary Aide

Responsible for maintaining setting up tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean, sanitary, and organized. Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook in our senior healthcare facility – Aventura at Oakwood Village. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and floors; properly storing clean items; removing trash; and following all food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Works cooperatively with all dietary and kitchen staff to ensure residents receive safe and timely meal service.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards.
• Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and carrying items.

• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
