Job summary

Leewood Healthcare Center seeks dependable Dietary Aides to support meal service and food operations within the facility. You will set up and deliver resident meals, follow diet orders, and help ensure meals are served safely and respectfully.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior dietary or food service experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and diet guidelines accurately.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble resident meal trays according to diet cards and menus.
• Deliver meal trays to nursing units and retrieve trays after meals.
• Assist with preparation of food items, snacks, and supplements as directed.
• Prepare items for medication passes as scheduled.
• Break down trays, operate dishwashing equipment, and properly store items.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Assist cooks and food services staff as needed.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Respond appropriately to requests from nursing staff and residents.
• Adhere to HIPAA and resident confidentiality requirements.
