• Sets up and sanitizes all patient trayline equipment and serving areas.
• Performs computer-related activities as required.
• Knows patient diets to serve meals accurately.

Job Information:

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our patients nutritional requirements are taken care of and fed.

• The Dietary Aide takes patient meal orders
• Delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area
• Collects trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers
• Replenish floor stock with food and nutrition items
• Assembles required portions for patient meals while ensuring high quality food served at appropriate temperture
• Assists in the assembly of all flatware and kitchenware
• Proper rotation during restocking floor stock
• Responsible for setup, breakdown and sanitation of all patient trayline equipment and serving areas while ensureing high qualify food served at appropriate temperature Performs computer related activies as required
• Knowledge of patient diets sufficient to serve patient meals accurately
