Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL is hiring a Dietary Aide to support patient nutrition by taking meal orders and delivering carts to floors. You will prepare portions, stock supplies, and maintain sanitation of trayline equipment to ensure meals are served at the correct temperatures.

Qualifications

• Collects trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
• Replenishes floor stock with food and nutrition items.
• Assembles portions for patient meals and ensures high-quality food at appropriate temperatures.
• Assists in assembling flatware and kitchenware.
• Rotates stock during restocking.
• Sets up, breaks down and sanitizes all trayline equipment and serving areas; ensures food at proper temperature.
• Performs computer-related activities as required.
• Knowledge of patient diets sufficient to serve patient meals accurately.

Job Information

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our patients nutritional requirements are taken care of and fed.

• The Dietary Aide takes patient meal orders
• Delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area
• Collects trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers
• Replenish floor stock with food and nutrition items
• Assembles required portions for patient meals while ensuring high quality food served at appropriate temperture
• Assists in the assembly of all flatware and kitchenware
• Proper rotation during restocking floor stock
