Job summary

United Living Community seeks a Dietary Aide to assist residents with meals and beverages, following the individual care plan. You will work closely with the Charge Nurse and care team, ensuring residents are served appropriately and records are kept accurate.

Position is full-time days, with every other weekend and holiday. Prior cooking experience is preferred or willingness to learn; dependable, trustworthy, and positive attitude required.

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have covid vaccine or exemption.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and meals according to the resident's plan of care.
• Chart intakes and assist with meals and feeding as required.
• Clean and dishwashing duties as part of daily routines.

The Dietary Aide position, in collaboration with the Charge Nurse and other team members to assure the resident is being served according to their plan of care. The Dietary Aide assists each resident to achieve and maintain the highest level of health and physical condition. This position includes, serving drinks and meals, charting intakes, cleaning and dishwashing.

The Dietary Aide must have the ability to work independently and be flexible in completing various duties as assigned. Cooking experience preferred or willing to learn. Must be dependable, trustworthy and must have a positive attitude.
