Vierra Falls Church is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dynamic team! If you are motivated and reliable, you’ll help provide residents with compassionate care and meals. We offer generous pay and benefits in a positive work environment.

Full-time, non-exempt position with a 12:00pm–8:00pm schedule, every other weekend, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned community focused on excellence in care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Good work ethics and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to portion control procedures and keep meals appetizing.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean work area.
• Set up meal trays and assist in distribution to designated areas.
• Check dietary trays before distribution and deliver food carts to designated areas.
• Remove food carts and trays from dining areas for cleaning.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Servesmealsinaccordancewithestablishedportioncontrolprocedures.
• Servesmealsthatareappetizingandpalatableinappearance.
• Servesmealsasnecessaryandonatimelybasis.
• Assistsindailycleaningdutiesasassignedtoincludeworktables,meatblocks,and refrigerators/freezers in accordance to established policies and procedures.
• Sweepandmopsfloorsasdirected.
• Washesandcleansutensils,dishesandcookingitemsaccordingtoestablishedpolicies and procedures.
• Carriesoutgarbageandkeepstheworkareaclean,dryandfreeofhazards.
• Setsupmealtrays,foodcarts,diningroom,etc.,asinstructed.
• Collectsanddistributesmenusasinstructed.
• Assistsincheckingdietarytraysbeforedistributionanddeliveringfoodcartsto designated areas.
• Removesfoodcarts,foodtraysfromdiningroomstodishwashingareaforcleaning.
