Forefront Healthcare is hiring for a Full-Time Dietary Aide at our Boonsboro, MD location.

You will be part of a team that supports you! This is a great opportunity to join a growing company. Our Director of Culinary will provide training to help you succeed in this role.

Position Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal service, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs. Assists the cook in meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive high-quality service.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist cooks with food preparation and service following guidelines and regulations.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts, set up and clean dining areas.
• Record refrigerator temperatures, clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes, maintain sanitation in the kitchen.
• Follow federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food service experience preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to communicate clearly with all community levels.
• Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Teamwork and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe certification is desirable but not required.

Education

High school diploma or GED.
