Forefront Healthcare is hiring for a Full-Time Dietary Aide. You will be part of a supportive team! This is a great time to join our rapidly growing company. The position is located in Boonsboro, MD. Our Director of Culinary will provide training to help you succeed in this role.

Position Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs. Assists the cook in meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive high-quality service according to scheduled meal times and established policies.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist the cook/supervisor with food preparation and service following specific procedures and regulations.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts, set and clean dining areas.
• Record refrigerator temperatures; maintain sanitation and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes, ensuring kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Preferred but not required: 1 year of food service experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong communication skills.
• Desire to work with geriatric residents and understand their needs.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Teamwork and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Education Requirement
