Job summary

Arbor Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehab in La Mesa, CA is seeking a hard-working Dietary Aide. The role supports food service operations, assists in meal preparation, tray setup, and helps ensure residents receive meals in a timely and courteous manner.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules with flexible shifts, wage range $16-$20 per hour DOE, and a competitive benefits package including healthcare. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Must maintain care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain sanitation in food service areas.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

Assist in serving meals and setting up meal trays, carts, and dining areas.
Work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services as needed and implement changes.
Ensure food procedures follow established policies and maintain sanitation and safety.
Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas and distribute menus as required.
Assist cooks in preparing meals and obtaining food supplies for next meal.
Develop good rapport with inter-department staff to ensure smooth food service.
