Job summary

Arbors at Oregon is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support daily meal preparation and service for residents in a long-term care setting. You will follow planned menus, respect dietary orders, and ensure safe handling and presentation of meals in a warm, resident-focused environment.

The position offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling options and opportunities for daily, weekly, or bi-weekly pay. Training is provided, and SerV Safe certification is preferred to start.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals according to the planned menu and dietary orders.
• Maintains food safety, sanitation, and equipment cleanliness.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly; monitors temperatures and logs records.
• Works as part of a team to deliver quality service and resident satisfaction.
