Job summary

Arbors of Ohio is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, serving, and meal delivery for residents and staff. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications include a tenth grade or higher (desirable) and ServSafe certification preferred; experience in food service is a plus. Training and supportive environment provided to ensure resident well-being.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for meals and events using proper handling techniques.
• Ensures meals are served per planned menus and time schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and records temperatures on logs.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly.
• Keeps workspace clean and uncluttered; adheres to safety procedures.
• Works as part of a team with residents, families, and staff.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
