Arbors at Delaware in Ohio is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with the preparation and service of meals for residents and staff. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain food safety, and work as part of a caring team.

Responsibilities include portioning meals, delivering meals on schedule, keeping the kitchen clean, recording temperatures, and assisting with inventory and equipment upkeep. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade or above desirable.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred, or other food safety certification as required in state or county of facility.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
• Utilizes standardized recipes to prepare menu items and ensures food is served attractively.
• Delivers meals to designated areas according to established schedules.
• Maintains proper temperature of food during preparation and service and records temperatures.
• Serves resident meals/snacks according to the menu, diet order, and preferences.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly; keeps area clean during prep and service.
• Operates equipment safely and reports problems promptly.
• Works as a team with residents, families, and visitors.
