Job summary

Village Point, a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Monroe, NJ, is seeking experienced Dietary Aides to join our team. We offer full-time and part-time roles with competitive pay and benefits, and the Dietary Aide performs a variety of routine kitchen duties including preparation and serving of food and tasks within the dietary office.

Responsibilities include preparing food, operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, quality assessments, and serving meals in a timely, appetizing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Food handling/food service industry preferred.
• Familiarity with diet terminology and operation of food service department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for service in a sanitary fashion.
• Operate and clean necessary kitchen equipment.
• Perform quality assessment tasks as required.
• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance in a timely manner.
• Serve food and beverages in the dining room as instructed and in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Set tables in the dining room, etc. for service.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, served in accordance with diet order.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned.
