Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide I to join our Nutrition Services team in Yakima. This full-time evening shift role supports patient, family and visitor meals with attention to safety and quality.

You will assemble, plate and deliver meals, handle cashier tasks, maintain records, and apply knowledge of special dietary needs. Requirements include a high school graduate, nutrition education preferred, WA Food Handlers Card, and experience in institutional food service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred.
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Card.
• Previous experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will perform a range of functions and duties from assembly, plating to delivery.
• You will perform a range of cashier-related duties.
• You will maintain records and follow procedures, regulations and organizational standards.
• You will apply excellent customer service for all in our diverse patient population.
• You will utilize an understanding of special dietary needs.
