Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Dietary Aide / Dishwasher to support the dietary department in providing nutritious meals for residents in a clean, safe dining environment. You will assist with meal preparation, meal service, dishwashing, and maintaining sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks to residents according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Set up and deliver meal trays to residents and assist with dining room service as needed.
• Collect trays, dishes, utensils, and other food service items after meals.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Put away clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in their designated storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, countertops, tables, sinks, floors, and kitchen equipment.
• Remove garbage and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and dining rooms.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies as directed.
• Follow residents' prescribed diets and special meal instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks to residents according to established menus and dietary requirements.
