Job summary

La Grande Post Acute Rehab is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our dietary department in La Grande, Oregon. You will read production orders, assemble trays, assist with food prep, and ensure meals are served warm and attractively, meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required: Food Handlers' Permit.
Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
Interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

Read production orders on tray cards.
Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
Washes dishes and cleans work area
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness
