Job summary

The Gallatin Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to join our residential facility. You will help prepare, present, deliver, and serve nutritious meals while following health and sanitation standards. Experience in food prep and customer-service is valued.

You will assist cooks, stock stations, and support residents during meals. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with daily pay options and weekly payroll as highlighted in

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; bend and kneel.
• Able to carry 25 or more pounds.
• Friendly, polite and courteous demeanor.
• Able to take directions.
• Must pass background check.
• Work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and set tables for residents.
• Greet residents and assist them to their tables.
• Help cooks in preparing meals according to dietary needs.
• Deliver prepared trays to tables or rooms.
• Assist residents with removing lids, utensils and straws.
• Remove dirty dishes, trays, and utensils.
• Deliver used dishes to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scrape, stack, or load dishes and glassware into the dishwasher.
• Vacuum, sweep, or mop dining room.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Monitor and stock food preparation stations.
• Prepare kitchen and food prep for next meal.
• Assist residents to leave dining area.
