Job summary
Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Lancaster County, PA. We seek a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service, while ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and resident comfort.
You will work part-time from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend requirements. The role includes staff meals, health benefits, and opportunities for growth in a family-like environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with seniors, preferably in long-term care.
- Good reading and communication abilities.
- Previous dietary/food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and serving of meals per guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent resident-focused service during meals.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.
