Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab, located in Elizabethtown, PA, is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for 3:30 PM–7:00 PM shifts, Monday–Friday with some weekends required. Benefits include staff meals, PTO, paid vacation, health and dental insurance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to read.
• Experience with seniors or long-term care is a plus.
• Duties require teamwork in a kitchen/dining setting.

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.

Responsibilities of a Dietary Aide:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.


• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications of a Dietary Aide:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in Long Term Care.


• Good communication skills and ability to read.


• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role preferred.
