Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide, LTC preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, family, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check diet trays to meet residents' dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts and collect used items after meals.
• Work in the dish room and wash dishes/utensils.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean and floors swept/mopped as directed.
• Handle garbage and maintain overall sanitation.
