Job summary

Gallaway Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support our residents by preparing, serving, and cleaning up of meals and snacks. You will help maintain a clean, sanitary dining area and assist with menu planning for special diets to ensure timely, respectful service.

In this role you will work in a fast-paced dietary environment, collaborate with team members, and follow health standards while supporting resident well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, serving, and cleaning up of meals and snacks for residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
• Assist with menu planning and meal planning for special diets and occasions.
• Ensure that all residents receive their meals and snacks in a timely and respectful manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
