Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents and guests and take individual food orders as needed
• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
• Assist in meal and event preparations
• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and kitchen workspace, adhering to schedules and infection control procedures
• Manage logs for food, equipment, cleaning, in-services, OSHA, and other compliance requirements
• Receive deliveries
• Sit, stand, walk, and kneel periodically during an 8-hour shift
• Work hours: at least 5 days a week, possibly weekends, between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., up to 60 hours/week if needed

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Food prep and healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Passion for serving seniors
• High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training preferred
• Must pass pre-employment and annual tests and meet state and federal guidelines
