Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Food & Nutrition Department by ensuring clean, organized, and efficient meal service for patients and staff.

You will assist with food prep, follow strict sanitation standards, and help maintain safe, high-quality dining areas. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy with diet plans, and reliable service in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent preferred
• 1 year of food handling experience preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparations and ensure meals adhere to individual diet plans
• Follow sanitation standards and hygiene procedures to guarantee safety and quality
• Perform routine clean-up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas
• Prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality
