Job summary

Windom Area Health is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for patients, cafeteria patrons, staff, and catered events. You will contribute to a safe, high-quality food service environment by following HACCP guidelines and established standards. Training is provided as needed.

The role includes rotating am/pm shifts and weekend/holiday coverage, with benefits eligibility and a focus on teamwork and exceptional service to patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or desirable; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience in food preparation and service desirable.
• ServSafe certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides meals to patients at assigned times and on demand to meet nutritional needs.
• Cooks and prepares food to fulfill the weekly menu with variety of options.
• Serves food to cafeteria customers and at events, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Adheres to HACCP and Food Code regulations.
