Job summary

Goodworks Unlimited in Versailles, Kentucky, is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and plating dishes in a familial and fun environment.

The ideal candidate has experience cooking for a facility with 50+ residents and holds a Safe Serv Food Handler's certification. The position is full-time and located in person at 1001 Crossfield Drive.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a facility of 50+ residents.
• Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk for required shifts.
• Must have current Safe Serv Food Handler's certification or willing to receive.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with the planned menu.
• Record accurate temperatures.
• Follow the cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
• Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation.
• Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with the planned menu.
• Record accurate temperatures.
• Follow the cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
• Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation.
• Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents.
• Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Scrape, wash, and put away dishes.
• Follow proper safety protocol.
• Other duties assigned by the manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a facility of 50+ residents.

• Must have current Safe Serv Food Handler's certification or willing to receive.
• Apply basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position.
• Requires knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
