Cook – Long-Term Care – Dietary Services

Join our team as a Cook – Long-Term Care – Dietary Services at Empire Care Centers.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare a variety of menu items according to prescribed recipes, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor. The role involves close collaboration with residents, staff, and vendors, along with other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
• Serv Safe Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain training within 90 days
• Flexibility to work either shift (8AM-2:30PM or 12PM-8:30PM) within a 40-hour workweek, with schedules provided two weeks in advance
