This role involves preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness in the dining areas, and assisting with food service operations. Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well.
Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented Food Service Worker to work in the Dietary department 32 hours per week, full-time, 10:30a-7p.
The Food Service Worker is responsible for the following:
Candidate must be able to follow menus and recipes, bend, stoop and reach overhead and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Education/Experience: Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation; prior experience in food service required, preferably in a healthcare setting. HS/GED required. This is a non-exempt hourly position. Prefer SERV SAF food handler certification or be able to sit for certification.
