An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join their Dietary department. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and ensuring a steady supply of beverages. Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN (as needed) Food Service Worker to work in the Dietary department.
The Food Service Worker is responsible for the following:

Education/Experience: Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation; prior experience in food service required, preferably in a healthcare setting. HS/GED required. This is a non-exempt hourly position.
Prefer SERV SAF food handler certification or be able to sit for certification. (Drug testing is part of the hiring process in addition to Background checks.)
