Job summary

BeeHive Homes of Broken Arrow is seeking a dependable Cook to join our family-style assisted living and memory care community. You will prepare home-style meals for residents, follow menus and dietary guidelines, and ensure food is prepared safely and served on time.

The weekend schedule is Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. CPR certification is required and a Food Handler Permit is required (or obtainable before employment); prior cooking

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Food Handler Permit required or ability to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals for residents.
• Follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and served on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
• Receive and properly store food deliveries.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Work closely with staff to accommodate residents' dietary needs.
• Follow all health department and food safety regulations.
