The Waters of Huntington is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our Dietary Department. You will perform routine duties, assist in meal preparation and service, and help maintain a clean, safe dining and kitchen environment.

Expect to read recipes, follow diet orders, and assist with lifting and moving items. Ability to work flexible hours and maintain resident dignity and respect is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow recipe directions.
• Must have good manual dexterity for food preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Willing to work flexible hours as required by the shift schedule.

Responsabilités

• Perform designated work routines in the Dietary Department.
• Assist the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follow Federal and State long term care regulations and policies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and sanitary work areas.
• Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Report equipment needs and safety concerns.
• Follow infection control policies and HIPAA requirements.
