Job summary

Avantara Lincoln Park is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to provide superior guest service and support the dietary department in a busy skilled nursing setting. You will assist in meal preparation, portioning, and serving meals to Guests and staff while maintaining clean and sanitary work areas.

This 24/7 facility requires lifting up to 50 pounds, rotating shifts, and adherence to sanitation policies. High school diploma or equivalent is required, plus one year of dietary aide experience and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience as a Dietary Aide.
• Food Sanitation Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to diet cards.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Guests and staff.
• Bag and store food items as directed.
• Clean and wrap silverware and ensure cleanliness.
