Job summary

Avantara Lincoln Park in Chicago is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide superior guest and employee service while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dietary department. You will assist in meal preparation to ensure quality nutrition for residents.

The role supports a 24/7 facility with rotating shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of Dietary Aide experience and a Food Sanitation Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience as a Dietary Aide (preferred).
• Food Sanitation Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to diet cards to meet meal times.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Guests and staff.
• Bag and store food items as directed.
• Clean and wrap silverware, inspecting each piece for cleanliness.
