Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior food service experience preferred. Compliance with vaccination policies is required, and physical tasks include lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
