Job summary

The Waters of Wabash East is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide in Wabash, Indiana to support our residents with nutritious meals and accurate tray service. You will work with the dietary team to assemble meals, deliver to rooms, and ensure sanitation standards are met.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $150 after 90 days, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative team environment. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of dietary or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and nutrition.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meals, including tray assembly, food preparation, and delivery to patient rooms.
• Assist with food inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to develop and implement special diets and menu plans.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
