Job summary

The Waters of Wabash East is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dishwashing, food prep and waiter/waitress tasks in a resident care setting. You will help set up dining areas, assist with meal service, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout shifts.

No experience? We welcome motivated applicants with a High School diploma; food service certification is a plus. This on-site role offers opportunities to grow in a collaborative kitchen team while upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide in a care setting with customer service focus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for food handling.
• Ability to prepare meals following instructions and using kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and clear dining areas.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and utensils.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
