Job summary

Apple Rehab Cromwell is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation, clean dining areas, and support food storage compliance. This role requires daily interactions with residents, ensuring sanitary regulations are followed for safe dining.

Qualifications

Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch.
Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift large items up to 50lbs.
Ability to write and record data, to read and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency.
Ability to communicate with residents, staff, family members in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of meals and snacks as well as clean up of dining areas.
Assist with receiving, rotating and storing of supplies and food.
Comply with infection control, safety and sanitation functions of the facility.
Ensure that food storage and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Handle food in accordance with sanitary regulations and report violations.
