Apple Rehab Farmington Valley in Plainville, CT is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal prep, dining room service, and cleanliness. You will receive, rotate and store supplies and interact daily with residents to ensure a high standard of care and nutrition.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety and sanitation policies, and communicate professionally with residents and staff. We offer an attractive benefit package for 30+ hour employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stock groceries on high shelves.
• Read and follow written and spoken English instructions.
• Remain calm and work efficiently in emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and dining area cleanup.
• Receive, rotate and store supplies and food.
• Interact daily with residents and support dining services.
• Maintain infection control, safety and sanitation practices.
