Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for a hygienic environment.
• Experience in food-service or healthcare is helpful but not required.

• Friendly demeanor with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, following safety standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, carrying items.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
