Job summary

The Rawlin at Riverbend Memory Care in Springfield, Oregon, is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support the dining team and ensure high-quality meal service for residents.

This part-time role offers weekend availability, 20–25 hours per week, and training on hire. A high school diploma and English proficiency are required; prior kitchen or dietary experience is helpful. Earned Wage Access is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Prior food service or dietary experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods as needed for kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and portioning under the cook's direction.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Deliver meal trays to resident neighborhoods and assist with meal distribution.
• Support kitchen operations during meal service, including restocking and light cleaning.
• Assist with events or community functions as needed.
• Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure residents are treated with privacy, respect, and dignity at all times.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Complete all state-required training upon hire and annually.
