Job summary

Heritage Pointe of Warren is seeking a dependable dietary staff member to assist in preparation, service, and cleanup of meals in accordance with facility guidelines and residents’ dietary needs.

You will prepare and serve meals, ensure portion control, deliver trays, and maintain kitchen and dining areas. The role involves interacting with residents and staff with a professional, friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the menu and dietary requirements.
• Ensure proper portion control and food safety procedures are followed.
• Deliver and retrieve food trays in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and sanitizing kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures according to local health department guidelines.
• Interact with residents and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
