Yona seeks a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents with warm, nutritious meals in a compassionate team environment in New Jersey. You will assist in meal prep under supervision, set up dining areas, deliver trays, and help maintain spotless kitchen and dining spaces.

Qualifications include proven dietary aide experience, knowledge of safety standards, good communication, and physical stamina. High school diploma required; food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Aptitude with cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly demeanor with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware, and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
